Hello AI Friends,
What I love about this meetup is that it’s a chance to reflect on how quickly the world changes.
You see things change before your very eyes and, as Sean, our resident AI publisher, reminded us this week, I’d encourage anyone who used LLMs a year ago who was unimpressed by the results to return to it because there have been some major improvements.
The most fascinating story of the week for me was the LLM.text protocol, which, if implemented, will make it much easier and faster for LLMs to access websites and return better results.
It could be the start of a radical overhaul of the way we interact with websites altogether. After all, if we are simply calling all our information from LLMs through natural language, why do we need websites or graphical interfaces themselves?
Right now, this is just a proposal, but it’s interesting to wonder how far this idea will percolate in a year or two years from now.
See you at the next meetup.
